Independent 1099 freight-agency opportunity. Run your own desk under the banner's MC and credit line, with access to a large BCO carrier network and full back-office support — settlements, carrier compliance, claims, billing. You keep a commission split of GP and a piece of every load you book. No equity, no buy-in, no vesting — agent-based commission model.
What matters:
- Provable portable book with a dollar figure
- Non-compete / non-solicit clearance
- Credit-line sensitivity — will the book survive the 30-60 day A/R gap during the transition
- Independent desk-running history at a prior agency or under another MC
- Carrier sourcing muscle — comfortable working a load board and direct BCO relationships
- Comfort with full 1099 / no-base structure during ramp
