About the Role
We're hiring an Account Manager / Customer Service Representative for a growing domestic 3PL (full-truckload, LTL, intermodal, reefer — no international or customs work). You'll be the daily point of contact for assigned shipper accounts — owning order entry, load tracking, and exception management while partnering with the carrier sales team to keep freight moving on time. Remote W2 role.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred — meaningful shipper and carrier communication is conducted in Spanish.
What You'll Do
- Build trusted relationships with assigned shipper accounts and serve as their single point of contact
- Enter loads, manage rate confirmations, and track shipments end-to-end in the TMS
- Proactively monitor in-transit freight and surface delays or exceptions before they hit the customer
- Coordinate with carrier sales reps to source coverage on customer freight
- Handle pricing requests, RFQs, and quote follow-up with quick turnaround
- Resolve service issues, billing discrepancies, and claims with professionalism
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years in freight brokerage operations, transportation, or 3PL customer service
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of TMS platforms (McLeod, Aljex, Revenova, or similar) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication — most of this job is communication
- Comfort with shifting priorities, exception handling, and ambiguity
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
Compensation
- $40,000 base salary
- 1.5% commission on account performance, uncapped
