A 100+ person, full-service international freight forwarder — FMC / MC / IATA licensed, moving 100K+ TEUs annually with U.S. offices and international footprint across India and Vietnam — is hiring a Canada-based international freight forwarding sales hire to grow their **CA/US trade-lane** book. **Immediate hire.** ## What you will do - Carry your own international freight forwarding book on Canada / US trade lanes (ocean **and** air) - Hunt and close new-logo accounts across Canada with cross-border freight needs - Partner with operations across the U.S. office network to deliver end-to-end execution on every move - Bring or build a portable book — accounts that follow you, not just history ## What we are looking for - **Currently in the shipping & logistics industry** — not transferable from outside the vertical - **International freight forwarding sales experience** — ocean **and** air; this is a hard requirement - **CA/US trade-lane track record** — you know the cross-border process, the players, the lanes, and the customers - **Strongly preferred verticals** (bonus if you've sold into any of these): - Metals - Lumber - Waste paper - Used clothing - Agri products - Self-directed, hunter DNA, and comfortable carrying a number remotely ## Why this role - Real cross-border book to build — the U.S. office network handles execution so you focus on selling - Uncapped commission on your personal production - Direct, low-bureaucracy operating culture - Immediate hire — no slow process ## Not a fit - Sellers without ocean **and** air international forwarding experience - Outside-the-vertical reps (general logistics, domestic trucking only, or non-freight transferees) - Anyone whose book is U.S.-only with no Canada exposure
